All right! The Vineyards track General – from their very first EP «good rock for good people» (iTunes, spotify) is now on tv screens all over the world as the sountrack to Brauns new shaver commercial. And the face shaved is none other than Jose Mourinho!

Great news! Finally we were able to publish the long awaited video of Northern Winters (spotify-link). As regular readers may recall, back in february 2009, we recorded a freezing cold video to illustrate the coolness of the Nothern Winter. Still, it took us about two years to agree on that this actually is a good video. Hence, we uploaded it and here it is:

Tidenes norske sommerlåt i ny versjon
The Vineyards har som første band covret The Pussycats sommerhit “Just a little teardrop”, som herjet hitlistene i 1966.
Med “Just a little teardrop” minnes vi sommerene i Hverven-bukta i Oslofjorden midt på 60-tallet. Med pussycats på scenen og frisluppet ungdom, sprit og generell rock n roll i kullissene. The Pussycats karriere var preget av både skandaler og kynisk forretningsdrift, men musikken deres står som en bauta i tidlig norsk rockehistorie.
Det er på tide å hente det glade 60-tallet frem igjen.

Then we sadly enough are back in Norway! The two shows in Wernigerode and Leipzig went very well indeed. Thanks to the Überbürgermeister of Wernigerode for signing the deal, and to The Squibs and Roadcrash for supporting us in Leipzig. And last, but not least: thanks to all of you little rascals that showed up at the gigs! We had a great time, and so did you! As a token of our gratitude Kjartan and Micha the Tour manager recorded a little song to celebrate and commemorate these joyful events. We’re already looking forward to the next German tour!

And we can tell you as a teaser that the Harz mountains is cold as hell and it is raining. Blurgh!
So here we are on our way to the airport heading for a couple of days in Germany.
Today were playing some kind of stadtfest in Wernigerode (our favourite town in Germany!) and tomorrow Leipzig will experience the wildest show they’ve seen in a long time.

Tomorrow The Vineyards leave for Germany yet again! This time just a short trip this time to play in Wernigerode on Friday and Leipzig on Saturday. The gig in Wernigerode is outdoors and the weather is supposed to be nice, so if you are in the neighborhood or far away for that matter, just follow the sound of loud rock music. Oh yess.
